BH completes its first ground-up development project – the development of a 73-unit Staybridge Suites in Newark, DE
2005
H enters the enters the hospitality debt market, purchasing hotel NPLs totalling $[X] million as well as a 133-unit REO hotel property through a bank foreclosure auction.

BH enters the Texas hotel market with its purchase of a site to develop the 108-key Four Points by Sheraton Midland, TX in the development.

BH enters the European real estate market through its investment in NBG Pangaea REIC (now Prodea), the largest REIT in Greece

BH enters the Cypriot and Polish real estate markets through its investment in Aphrodite Hills integrated Golf Resort in Paphos, Cyprus and its investment in 9 Polish retail centers.

BH co-founds Best Star Real Estate through its JV with UK developer Star Real Estate Group.

BH enters the NYC investment market with its purchase of the 226-key Holiday Inn Manhattan Chelsea – 6th Avenue.
